Tara Mullaney Bonini
Tara Ann Mullaney Bonini, 45, of Tavarnelle Val Di Pesa, Italy died
suddenly in her sleep of heart failure at home on Friday, February 14.
Born in Woodbridge, she was raised in Westfield. Tara was a 1975
graduate of Westfield High School and a 1979 graduate of Colgate
University. She worked as a buyer for Macy’s New York and later as a
product manager for the Ralph Lauren Corporation. She moved to
Florence, Italy 18 years ago to raise her family.
Tara is survived by her husband, Marco Bonini, and her three children,
Tierney, Michael and Francesco, all of Tavarnelle Val Di
Pesa.
She was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane Mullaney
of Westfield and the sister of Maura Boylan of Dunwoody, Ga., Robert
Mullaney of Basking Ridge, Sheila Rippe of Westfield, Tricia Mullaney
Hagar of Ridgewood and Alicia Traylor of Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Tara is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews around the world.
Visitation was held February 16 and 17 at Cappelle Del Commiato.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated February 18 at Saint
Romolo a Tignano. Interment followed at Cimitero Evangelico Agli
Allori in Florence, Italy.
