Robert Downer

Feb. 24, 1957 to March 27, 2022.

He died at the Arcadia Nursing Home in Little Egg Harbor

and is buried in Mount Prospect Cemetery in Neptune.

If anyone was of a mind to they could donate money in memory

of Bob and his famous Westfield Revolutionary War hero ancestor

Sam Downer, to the Westfield Historical Society.

Sam once hosted George Washington at his home.

His blacksmith shop was at the corner of East Broad and 

Mountain Ave.
