It is with a heavy heart that the Richardson family announces the passing of Scott Hubert Richardson, age 66, on August 9th, 2023 in Somerset, NJ.

After graduating from Westfield High School, Scott went on to study business at Kutztown University where he met his wife of 40 years, Dawn (Bolmer) Richardson. Scott was a loving husband and father to his son Ryan and his wife Christine; his sons Tyler, Spencer and Colby; his two adoring grandchildren, Sophie and Cole, and his pooch, Stella. Scott was predeceased by his loving parents Jean and Alfred Richardson.

On his happiest of days, Scott could be found boating and fishing with family and friends, spending time on the deck watching boats go by or grilling up some delicious chicken or making his famous hand-picked crab cakes for family dinners.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Robert Wood Johnson Hospitals in Somerset and New Brunswick for their care and compassion.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home 225 Mountain Avenue Bound Brook, NJ 08805. Cremation Services are Private. A Memorial Service will be offered at a later date.
