Obituary for Dominick Rizzo

  Dominick D. Rizzo, 58, of Howell Township, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 6, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife and children. Dominick was born in Newark, and had lived in Bridgeport, CT, and Westfield before settling in Howell Township 27 years ago. He was self employed as an industrial mechanic for domestic and international distribution centers. Dominick enjoyed classic cars, fishing, science fiction, traveling, and good cigars. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. Dominick was the best husband, father, and grandfather anyone could ever ask for.
Dominick was predeceased by his father, Dominick Rizzo in 2009. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Patricia Rizzo; his daughter, Alexis Marinov and her husband, Nick, and their children, Nadia and Viktor; his son, Dominick N. Rizzo and his wife, Jamie, and their children, Madelynn and Liliana; his mother, Rosemarie Rizzo; his brother, Frank Rizzo and his family; and his sister, Cynthia Mondi and her family.
A Gathering of Friends will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM.
