Ralph Hymer

 Ralph William Hymer, 24, of Westfield died Friday after suffering injuries in an automobile accident in Scotch Plains.

Boom in Summit, he lived in Westfield all his life. He worked for the J.H. Reid Construction Co., South Plainfield and attended Union College. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop 172 of Westfield.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hymer of Westfield and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Esther Hymer. Funeral services were held Monday at the chapel of the Presbyterian Church of Westfield with the Rev. Jeffrey Wampler officiating. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St.
